SEABED is official distributor of Wireless Fibre Systems

Seabed obtained a brand new dealer agreement with Wireless Fibre Systems Limited (WFS) for the Benelux region. The company is specialized in control and communication systems in underwater and underground environments.

Underwater Radio Frequency (RF) technology has the distinct advantage that it will operate in adverse water conditions, is unaffected by acoustic noise, is free from multipathing problems and that the Doppler effects are minimal. Critically, WFS’s products support data transmission across the water/air and ground/air boundaries, penetrating the surf zone, ice, harbour walls, and hitherto impenetrable materials. Click here

NEW: Seabed re-designed The Seabed Bottom sampler

The Seabed bottom sampler, one of seabed?s most successful products, is improved.
The pneumatic hammer, by the use of an air compressor, drives a cylindrical core in soft cohesive soils at a maximum water depth of approx. 20 meters.
The new design is more stable more easy to build up en more efficient in use.

Years ago Seabed started creating Bottom sampler equipment with the successful Electric Vibrocorer and The Seabed Bottom Sampler (pneumatic) as a result.

Seabed successfully installed wire crane system on board a TEBEZO vessel

Seabed finished the installation of a TEBEZO wire crane system prior to a dredging process in the IJssel.
In the last five years seabed installed the system by dozens of dredging companies all over the world. By using an unique combination of GPS, RTK, ALIGN, Motion sensors, Depth gauges and an excellent 3D visualization software program, Seabed enables it’s clients to see the dredging process real-time in the wheelhouse as well as the cabin.
